They were going about their search for a new home in 2015, somewhat discouraged and frustrated by a limited and competitive market, when 35 Grandview Ave #2 popped up. In their wildest dreams, they never thought they would find a three-bedroom space in an old stone CASTLE with an enormous private deck with an amazing view of the city. When they learned dogs were welcome, that there were two parking spaces (one in a garage, no less), a gunite pool, air conditioning, and places to garden, they were blown away.

For the past nine years, they have lived in this beautiful spot, taken inspiration for their highly sought-after ceramics, enjoyed long walks with their dog through the Hillside area of Medford and the Middlesex Fells Reservation, and sat quietly on their deck, taking in the ever-changing sky. When it got hot outside, they simply jumped in the pool to cool down. Their business is growing, so they are headed to Rhode Island for a new, larger studio, thus recreating the opportunity for someone searching in this equally frustrating market to live in a Castle.
